Rumor: Xbox 360 Core is Dead; Long Live Xbox 360 Arcade!

Rumor’s have been swirling around that change was coming to the Xbox 360 Core bundle. Would it be discontinuation? HDMI port? Wireless Controller?
The answer looks like: Yes.
Listings showing up on Amazon and Toy’s R Us.com seem to align with previous rumors that there’s a new SKU for the 360 coming. Titled Xbox 360: Arcade, it’s said to include:
- HDMI port
- Wireless Controller
- 256MB Memory Card
- 5 XBLA games (Boom-Boom Rocket, Pac-man, Uno, Feeding Frenzy, and Luxor 2)
It’s said to be coming on October 23rd for 279.99. It seems like a much better way to do it.
