New Hotel Dusk Trailer! Notice a trend in posts?

I’m sorry that I’m such a Cing fanboy. Most all post allude to this. I’m sure by now you know what Hotel Dusk is, seeing as I’ve posted nearly 8 posts about it since it was announced at E3 in May. I don’t really do that for other games. Anyway, the last post was about how the (bland) US teaser site is up. Now the Japanese page is up as well, and with it comes a new trailer.

I’ll try to vary my posts more from now on.

EDIT: NeoGAF poster “mutsu” says that this game uses the DS rumble pack. I have to pick one up before this comes out, in order to experience it to the fullest.

Hotel Dusk Teaser Site is up!

Do you know that the game is called Hotel Dusk and is for DS? Do you know that it’s being called “an interactive mystery novel”, and will be out on January 22, 2007? Then you probably don’t need to visit the Hotel Dusk teaser site. But you should keep an eye on the site, as the full site is “coming soon”.

GOTY?

Brothers in Arms comes to Nintendo Wi…I mean DS.

In a weird move Brothers in Arms will be coming to Nintendo DS. Not Wii, but DS. Next to nothing is known about the game at this time, except it will be third person instead of first. It will be interesting to see what this game looks like. Controls could work quite well though (touch screen could be used to tell teammates where to go).

More killer franchises making their way to DS makes me a happy toucher, er I mean gamer. Awkward…

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (aka Wishroom) Japanese Boxart.

Were about a month away from the US release of this game, and I’m super hyped. Reading the new info from Nintendo Power makes me want it even more. We’ve seen the US boxart, but here’s a taste of what the Japanese box (it’s called Wishroom over there) will look like:

Wishroom 215

I love the Cing art style!

Rejoice! Kingdom Hearts Announcements in ‘07!

Kingdom Hearts producer Tetsuya Nomura said in a interview with Famitsu that there will be multiple KH projects in the works, with announcements coming in 2007. Kingdom Hearts 3 could be the most convincing reason for me to buy a PS3. That is if it’s even on the PS3. With Dragon Quest 9 coming to DS instead of PS2, it will be interesting to see where the KH3 ends up.

Let the war for the Keyblade begin!

Crackdown Demo on Marketplace on Jan. 18; Full game on Feb. 20

Press Release:
Justice Is Served: “Crackdown” on Crime This February

The highly anticipated Xbox 360 title ‘Crackdown’ explodes onto Xbox Live Marketplace with an exciting single-player and online cooperative demo Jan.18, followed by its arrival on store shelves Feb. 20.

Pacific City is overridden; crime controls the streets. Three powerful gangs have taken the once-great metropolis hostage, and the police have proven powerless in their efforts to regain control. Only the Agency – with genetically enhanced agents of justice – can provide citizens with some sense of hope.

Brace yourself. Justice is coming to Pacific City.

On Jan. 18, gamers will get the chance to battle their way through the roads and rooftops of Crackdown™ as the Xbox 360™ title’s explosive demo lands on Xbox Live® Marketplace. And for the ultimate payback, they will combine forces in online co-op play for twice the thrills and double the retribution. [Online multiplayer play requires Xbox Live Gold account.]

Gamers will arm themselves with high-tech weapons, transformable vehicles and incredible, gravity-defying superskills in preparation to take back Pacific City when Crackdown storms North American store shelves Feb. 20.

From Realtime Worlds, Crackdown pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with the first-ever truly 3-D playground. Gamers will level up their Agent’s strength, agility, firearms, explosives and driving skills while scaling the fully vertical world of Crackdown. This M-rated game incorporates revolutionary co-op gameplay throughout the entire free-form campaign. Creating a volatile cocktail of judicial oppression, players will clean up the streets of a truly interactive world when Crackdown hits store shelves at an estimated retail price of $59.99.

This game looks cooler every day. I can’t wait!

Sony Loses Another Exclusive; Virtua Fighter 5 is Coming to Xbox 360

Oh Sony, I know you try to put out a great machine with great games, but this is just crazy! Assassins Creed was looking to be a great reason to buy a PS3. Then it was announced for Xbox 360. The same thing happened to GTA IV, Fatal Intertia, and Armored Core 4. Then there were rumors that Metal Gear Solid 4 could old guy stealth it up on the 360 as well.

Now we have a huge japanese fighter, that’s “Jumping In” with Microsoft’s box of online goodness. Yes, Virtua Fighter 5 is going to come out for Xbox 360 as well as Playstation 3. Sure there’s a small, timed exclusive for PS3 (VF5 PS3 is hitting NA in Feb. VF5 360 comes in Summer), but this is still horrible news for Sony. Lack of consoles, and exclusive games make me less inclined to drop tons cash on this consoles weak point for massive ownership (Sorry, I had to).

New Halo 3 “Vidoc” is Brute-tastic!

The Ninja’s over at Bungie launched a surprise attack at us gamers, by putting the new “Vidoc” (Video Documentary) up for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. I’ve only gotten a chance to watch a cruddy YouTube Shaky-cam Version, but it looks slick. Here’s a few images to get you hyped:

^New type of Brute Armor.

^New Grenade’s in HUD. Frag, Plasma, Spike, Sheild?

Well, shield is the wrong shape…

^More Brute Sweetness!

I’ll have my thoughts and info from the video, when I download it on friday. If you have Xbox Live, you really should download this!
